View from the Handicap Chair Lift at the Plaza

Met my friend for lunch today at the Plaza of the Americas. I have walked over there many times over the last 4 years, and I never noticed that there was a chair lift for those who can't take the stairs. It was VERY slow, but couldn't resist riding it. Of course, I used it on the way back too.

Hey Sandi.....I've been disabled for 26 years now.........it's amazing how far we've really come in the way of help for the handicapped. The ADA { American Disabilities Act } ......has done quite an impressive job in helping business's become aware of the physical limitations of many of it's potential customers. We're not there yet.......but we've come far. Glad you got a chance to try one of the convience's out !........am also glad.......you won't have to do this kind of thing.......on a permanent basis !..........peace and love......Norma.......P.S.....I love the look of your new blog !
