Flop-Overs

I have never made popovers before
I found a recipe in a magazine
&
it seemed easy enough

As I started to mix the batter together,
I realized some things didn't make sense
I googled and discovered that the recipe
had left out some vital details
like
eggs should be room temperature
milk should be room temperature

it also said to stir the ingredients together
but to not overbeat
(I'm like, do I stir with a spoon or mix with beaters)

Needless to say
the popovers puffed up and looked awesome
but
they tasted very doughy
Now I am on a quest
to find
the
perfect
popover recipe

ME ME ME ME!!!! I will come over and take any off your hands that you don't want. Even the "flops" look pretty good.

Hi there, FYI, I did a post on popovers awhile ago. You can search my blog and you'll find them. Good luck, my recipe has turned out just fine.
