Honeycomb

I first saw this picture on I Heart You blog

Something about it just speaks to me
&
makes me want to try honeycomb

The picture was taken by Laurie Proffitt
Check out her photography website here
Love her photos

Last week when I ate lunch at Scardello's

I discovered this 100% edible honeycomb

Before I could buy it, a friend gave me some
orange blossom honeycomb from Florida

I haven't done anything with it yet
but can't wait to put together
my own cheese and honeycomb platter

Williams Sonoma - Lessons in Dairy

I am loving the free Technique classes
@ Williams Sonoma!

I attended my 3rd one this past Saturday

I learned how to make butter and ricotta cheese

Also, another fun surprise
the owner, Rich Rogers from Scardello's
was there to give us
a quick lesson on cheeses

Is it a coincidence
that I had just visited Scardello's
last week ?

Here is a list of the upcoming classes
The classes I attend in Plano @ Park & Preston are on Saturdays @ 9:30am
