OMG ! What a game. I wish I could have been there. I didn't start watching until the end of the 1st half - but I was getting updates "text'd" to me. This was HUGE for the Red Raiders. They are 9-0. It was a nail-biting game to the very end, but I'm so glad they won!

Earthquake in Dallas, Texas

No joke. My alarm is set on talk radio. So when it went off this morning at 5am, I heard them talking about earthquakes and didn't think anything of it until they said it was in Dallas. Boy, did I wake up then. I had to get up and get online to verify. There were actually 2 - a 2.5 and a 3.0. They happened at 11 or 12 last night. I was up.. didn't feel anything which is good because I'm not sure just how I would have reacted if my house started rattling.

(This is an email from my friend at work's son - he was 13 at the time )

Dear Mr. Norman,

This is Joey speaking on behalf of my mom's e-mail adress. I would like to adress to you something about your powerpoint slides. My parents and I check the Blackboard at the beginning of the work week or on a Sunday to print off the weeks to come activities. But as me go to your link, you have everything on a PPS. Therefore we can not print the agenda off. It would be of great convience if you could do it off of word, or another program that comes equiped with your average store bought computer. Due to my mother's busy schedule of working at hom, and taking me to tennis every day she does not have the time to check blackboard every day. If you would e-mail back on this adress or chat with me at school, that would be great.

Back to Work - Remember, "They" are Watching

This sign just appeared one day by the elevators on the floor of my office. It strikes me odd every time I see it. It just seems like something you'd see in a Parking Garage or even a prison. It's a good thing that I like my job or seeing this sign several times a day could get oppressive. Of course now I have to be careful when I'm walking down the hallway by myself - no more fixing my bra strap or pulling my panties out of my butt.

Workout Update

I am happy to say that I worked out 5 times last week. I think I did pretty good the week before too. I was at the gym by 10 this morning to kick off this week as well. We have the biggest loser weigh in tomorrow. Gosh, I hope I haven't gained any weight. They are using my scale, so I don't have it at home. I miss it. I will update tomorrow on how I did.
