Spec's - Dallas Grand Opening

Spec's opened here in Dallas

back in December

but today kicks off their official

Grand Opening

I visited a couple of weeks ago

and was in awe of all the stuff they carry

In addition to liquer, beer and wine

here is just a sample of what they have

Buzzbrews is another fun breakfast/brunch place

Actually, they have a full menu and are open 24/7

There are 3 locations in Dallas

I went to the one off Lemmon Ave

I found this recipe on Pinterest

It originated from cookin up north blog

It is very easy to make

Cake:

3 cups flour

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup sugar

4 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup butter, melted

Topping:

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp flour

1 Tbsp cinnamon

Directions:

1. Mix all the cake ingredients together except for the butter
2. Slowly stir in the melted butter
3. Pour into greased 9X13 pan
4. Mix all the topping ingredients together until well combined
5. Drop evenly over the batter
6. Swirl with a knife
7. Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes
8. While warm, drizzle the glaze over the cake

Glaze:

2 cups powdered sugar

5 Tbsp milk

1 tsp sugar
