Williams Sonoma - Farm to Table Class

The class started @ 9:30am
Eileen, the instructor, brought in herbs from her own garden
The sage was huge (I have sage envy)

We got to sample Gazpacho
It was awesome, and I'm craving it even now

This was made using the Vitamix Pro Blender
They have 2 models - pricing starts @ $449.95
(This just got added to my wishlist)

This corn chowder was fabulous as well.

Everything was made using fresh ingredients

Since I couldn't afford the Vitamix Professional Blender,
I bought these very much needed gadgets instead -

&
chocolate balsamic vinegar

The class was really fun!
They are having classes every Saturday in July
@
Preston Park Village
1900 Preston Road
Plano, TX 75093
(972) 964-5838
(Just call to sign up)

The next class is Summer Sauces
 is Saturday, July 17 @ 9:30am

This class will show you how to spice up grilled meats, vegetables and even ice cream with sauces made from fresh summer ingredients from your garden. Chutneys, salsas, yogurt sauces, and dessert sauces will be presented.

I plan on attending the class, Saving Summer
on Saturday, July 24th @ 9:30

"Not ready to take on canning?" the website asks. "Learn some simple ways to preserve summer's bountiful produce: a quick tomato sauce, easy pickled vegetables and delectable jams made with ripe seasonal fruits. We'll show you the basics so you can capture the fresh flavors of summer."
